Crafted in Vert Claire Ardennes leather with gold hardware, this HAC is the perfect travel bag. The Haut a Courroies, or “high belts” bag, is very similar to the Birkin but proportionally taller with slightly shorter handles. The HAC, like the Birkin, was originally used for carrying equestrian equipment but has since become an icon of fashion and taste. Ardennes leather is no longer in production, though it is widely considered the best wearing leather from Hermes. It is more rigid than Togo; therefore it holds the shape of the bag well.
